This is Neon Phase – part portfolio, part thought archive, part creative playground.
A space where structured thinking meets creative intuition.
Hi, I’m Freddy. I created Neon Phase to bring together the layered parts of who I am – artist, student, and observer.
Named for how neon spreads colour—vivid, electric, and impossible to ignore. Here, ideas refract like neon light, bending, spreading, and transforming. Neon is my metaphor: crafted to illuminate more than just itself.
In everything I do, I try to leave behind the glow of something meaningful.
The UTS Sunflower launch showed how visibility and education can turn lived experience into lasting change
Bringing my creative lens into business paid off — my designs were chosen as the winners of the 2025 Design 4 Canvas Competition
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower makes the invisible visible — a small symbol that signals understanding, time, and support.
Good access is just good planning — and that’s what we tried to show at the UTS Accessibility Meet & Greet.
Public speaking doesn’t come naturally to me, but I’ve built a way to do it that feels steady, honest, and sustainable.
Bravery isn’t about being fearless — it’s showing up even when it feels uncomfortable, and giving yourself credit for it.
Group work isn’t about losing your individuality — it’s a chance to bring your strengths to the table and set the tone for the team.
The best hack I found this semester? Use the free uni services — they turned my first year from stressful to supported.
Saying yes before I felt ready opened doors to leadership, work, and confidence I never thought I’d find in my first semester.
University friendships don’t always form overnight — sometimes they grow slowly through familiarity, recognition, and showing up.
Yesterday’s Career and Life Design workshop challenged me to ask: what will I do with my one wild and precious life?
I read Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari about a year ago, and it’s one of those books that quietly rewires how you see things. No dramatic twist, no emotional arc. Just a clear breakdown of how humans got from foraging to finance to fiction.
Attending the UTS Women in Business Leading With Impact: HR Panel was a powerful reminder that showing your value, embracing uncertainty, and leading with empathy are at the heart of impactful People & Culture work.
Just returned from a refreshing uni break spent in Noosa and Toowoomba, where I recharged with nature, family time, childhood nostalgia at Australia Zoo, and meaningful moments that left me re-energised for the semester ahead.
